Ingredients
500g Lean beef mince
1/2 brown onion
1 garlic clove
1/2 carrot
1/2 yellow capsicum
1/2 zucchini
2 mushrooms
2 tsp Low salt beef stock
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
500ml Passata
250g spaghetti
Fresh Oregano
Fresh Basil
Method
Dice all the veggies nice and small.
Add onion and garlic to a pan and cook until soft, then add the rest of the veggies. Cook until they’ve all softened.
Add the mince and the beef stock, cinnamon and nutmeg and cook until the mince is brown. Add the passata and herbs and about 100ml of water mixed through the passata bottle. Bring to the boil – then turn down to low and simmer for around 2 hours.
Break the spaghetti in half and cook the spaghetti as per instructions on the packet until soft.
Drain and mix through the meat mixture.
Sprinkle some grated cheese and let them get messy.
